Welcome to the website for the Greatham Village Events Committee (GVEC)

GVEC was formed in 2003 by a group of villagers from Greatham, Hampshire, with the sole purpose of organising events for the residents of the village and the surrounding area.

GVEC does not aim to make a profit, but uses any profits from one event to subsidise other events. The committee and all helpers are volunteers. GVEC organises many regular events within Greatham including:

• A village fun day in June
• A summer ball in August
• A fireworks party in November
• A children's christmas party in December
• A pantomime around Christmas

All of the events are held at Greatham Village Hall or the playing field adjacent to the village hall.
