Greatham Allotment Charity
The Allotment Charity for the labouring poor was founded to provide financial assistance to any parishioner of Greatham who finds him (or her) self in a position of ‘temporary or permanent financial embarrassment’.
The charity, registered charity number 254151, is officially known as the "Allotment for Labouring Poor", and was originally founded in the 1920s. The charity was officially established as such under a scheme approvide by the Charity Commission in 1969.
